Carpe Diem Beds reaches milestone by entering wholesale market in UK

Carpe Diem Beds, the Swedish bed brand that epitomizes luxury and quality, has taken another exciting step in its journey as it plans to expand into wholesale across the UK. Bursting onto the UK scene over two years ago by opening a state-of-the-art flagship store in Marylebone, London – Carpe Diem Beds offers an unrivaled product offering and brand experience. And as of April, this year, consumers can also experience the brand’s luxury bedroom universe at the prestigious department store, Harrods, in London.

Always focusing on design, lifestyle, and premium quality, Carpe Diem Beds was founded over two decades ago on the Swedish west coast and has since garnered a reputation for its unique know-how in creating handmade beds that are showcased in top hotels and private homes around the world. Customers get to customize their beds, headboards, and decorative pillows with stunning fabrics that are created in collaboration with Designers Guild and ROMO Group as well as choose from a wide variety of bed legs to create an entirely bespoke bed.

“We are incredibly excited about taking this step and being able to reach more people across the UK. The brand’s vision is to always be at the forefront when it comes to combining luxurious comfort with stylish design whilst being able to offer a complete solution for the bedroom and we look forward to reaching even more people across the UK. We have entered an agreement with a UK-based sales agent who has extensive experience in the retail bedding industry, and we are beyond excited to start expanding in such an important market for us”, commented Helen RK Jensen, VP Brand of Carpe Diem Beds.

Carpe Diem Beds opened its first store in the UK amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, followed by the launch at Harrods in April of 2022 – the fact that the brand is now further accelerating its expansion in the market is a testament to the conviction behind the brand strategy where the focus lies on the experience of the brand as it permeates all types of channels, both physical and digital.

Other than the four directly operated flagship stores located in Sweden, Denmark, and the UK, Carpe Diem Beds are available through retailers in some twenty countries worldwide. The retail offering is complemented by its e-commerce site where consumers in the UK can already have a complete brand and product experience. A proud holder of five patents, all helping to create optimal support for your spine and the perfect night’s sleep, Carpe Diem Beds offers the perfect balance of luxurious comfort and exquisite style – soon available to consumers across the UK.

“I am delighted to be offered the opportunity of working with such an amazing brand like Carpe Diem Beds. They have achieved great success over the last two decades and their journey has been truly exciting to witness. I believe that Carpe Diem Beds has enormous potential, and I am eager to get to work on delivering the existing strategy for the UK market and to accelerate the brand’s growth”, commented Oliver Bowen, UK Agent for Carpe Diem Beds.
