A Culture of Collaboration Driving Commercial Success
Hilding Anders Netherlands’ plant in Vroomshoop
Hilding Anders Netherlands is built on stability, experience, and long-term collaboration. The organization comprises 105 dedicated employees, many of whom have worked together for more than a decade. Recently, the team marked the retirement of a colleague who had spent 50 years with the company — a milestone that speaks volumes about loyalty, continuity, and culture.
Working side by side over long periods has fostered a highly collaborative environment, supported by a management philosophy rooted in constructive and immediate feedback. This approach continues to deliver tangible results. Hilding Anders Netherlands closed 2025 on a strong note, with full-year revenue exceeding budget expectations by a significant margin.
“We have a stable team of professionals who are deeply passionate about their respective fields,” says Annemiek Postma, Marketing and Product Development Manager at Hilding Anders Netherlands. “We actively encourage a proactive, can-do mindset, while placing strong emphasis on creating a safe environment where people feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback.”
This proactive spirit extends across the entire Business Unit — always with retail partners and consumers at the center. It informs organizational development, brand portfolio management, and the way the Dutch team collaborates closely with its retail network.
A clear example of this mindset is the development of Eastborn Go. Eastborn is a well-established mid-range brand available through numerous retailers across the Netherlands. Through close dialogue with retail partners, the portfolio was strategically expanded with Eastborn Go: an entry-level range designed to complement the existing mid-range assortment and address specific consumer and retail needs.
“We are very focused on creating a stable environment around all our brands, prioritizing quality, delivery, and service,” says Frank Abbeel, Managing Director of Hilding Anders Netherlands. “Our close-knit relationships with retail partners, and the effort we invest in helping them build their business, are making a real difference. This collaborative approach is a key factor that sets us apart from competitors.”
Alongside its success in the mid-range segment, Hilding Anders Netherlands also delivered a strong performance in 2025 within the premium category, driven in particular by the legacy brand Pullman, the Norwegian premium brand Jensen and Swedish luxury brand – Carpe Diem Beds.
Pullman is renowned for its long heritage in sleep comfort, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced pocket spring technologies. The brand’s foundations trace back to concepts developed in the 19th century. Today, its sleep systems are centered around Inside Pocketvering technology, often configured in comfort zones to provide targeted, ergonomic support.
Jensen, brings together Scandinavian design principles, traditional craftsmanship, and modern sleep science. The brand emphasizes ergonomics through its Jensen Original Zone System, Aloy® spring systems, and Exact Comfort Adjustment, enabling tailored support and adjustable firmness.
Carpe Diem Beds epitomizes Scandinavian luxury, uniting refined design with advanced comfort. Founded by a chiropractor, the brand remains rooted in innovation, holding five unique patents focused on ergonomic support. Its Contour Pocket Spring system allows individual springs to adapt to the body’s contours and movements, delivering precise support and a superior sleep experience.
Together, these results underline Hilding Anders Netherlands’ ability to translate a strong people-driven culture into consistent commercial performance — across price segments, brands, and long-standing retail partnerships.
