Dr. Stefan Brungs appointed General Manager of Hilding Anders Switzerland AG

Malmö, Sweden – Hilding Anders appoints former Bugatti Executive, Dr. Stefan Brungs, as General Manager of Hilding Anders Switzerland AG and will be responsible for Hilding Anders’ business operations in Switzerland. Dr. Brungs will report to Chairman & Group CEO, Pepyn Dinandt. The change will take effect 01.12.2017.

Stefan Brungs has a long and successful professional track record. Dr Brungs’ last position was as Member of the Board for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service at Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S, a position he held since August 2010. During his tenure at Bugatti, Stefan Brungs, was instrumental in reconvening the success story of the Bugatti brand, establishing Bugatti as an ultimate super sports car. The order bank for the Chiron covers production until 2021. Stefan started his career as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group before joining the Volkswagen Group in 1994 as head of marketing strategy and conception of the Volkswagen brand. In 1999 he was appointed Managing Director Europe of Bentley Motors before becoming the Managing Director of Volkswagen AG Group Fleet International business, representing the entire brand and product portfolio to international fleet customers, a position he held until joining Bugatti Automobiles in 2010.

A German citizen, Dr Stefan Brungs holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from California State University and a Ph.D. in Retail and Economics from Saarland University. He is 57 years old and is going to reside in Zürich with his wife and daughters.
